Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run this initiative — and nothing more. We never build profiles about your mental health, we never track whether you viewed or used crisis resources, and we never sell or share your information with advertisers.

What we collect

• Email list: if you choose to join, your email address, any interests you select, the exact consent wording you were shown, and when you gave it. Joining is always opt-in.
• Contact messages: if you email or message us, the contents of that message and your reply address.
• Aggregate analytics: privacy-respecting, cookieless website statistics (page views and referrers in aggregate) that cannot identify you as an individual.

What we never collect

• No analytics event, profile, or record that identifies an individual as having viewed crisis resources, called a crisis line, or sought support. Interactions with crisis contact information are not tracked at all.
• No advertising pixels, remarketing, cross-site trackers, or session recording.
• No purchase of third-party data about you.

Merchandise purchases

Orders, payment, shipping, taxes, and refunds are processed by Shopify under Shopify's own terms and privacy policy. Beyond September never receives or stores payment card information, and a purchase is never linked to your activity elsewhere on this site.

Find Support Today

FindSupportToday.com is an independent companion resource with its own site and privacy practices. Beyond September and Find Support Today do not share a database. We count visits we refer in aggregate only — never who you are or what you looked at.

Email, consent, and unsubscribe

We only email people who explicitly asked to hear from us. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. The email list belongs to this initiative — not to any email platform — and can be exported at any time.

Retention, deletion, and your rights

Contact messages are deleted within twelve months of being handled. If you unsubscribe, we keep only the minimum record needed to honor your unsubscribe. You may request a copy of your information, correct it, or have it deleted at any time by writing to hello@beyondseptember.org.

Service providers

This site runs on Lovable (hosting and database), with merchandise handled by Shopify, aggregate analytics by a privacy-respecting analytics provider, and email delivered by a managed email service. Independent encrypted backups are kept in storage owned by the initiative. Each provider processes only what it needs to perform its role.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be announced to email subscribers.
